Holy Freakin Chicken COW! haha I’m ENGAGED!!!

So Daniel James Goit finally got the guts to ask me to marry him haha I did not see it coming at all!We talk about it ALL the time, so I knew we would eventually, but I also didn’t know it was happening now : D I am super excited to start my life with my Fiance hehe. This weekend was perfect actually; we started off going out to Butcher Jones to have a fire ( i love fires!) with his brother Phil and his wife Sarah (Aussie) and their daughter Jordyn. It was way fun we made smores and said our goodbyes to their Christmas tree!

Friday, Alicia and Dan got some peeps to go tire rolling.. all i did was watch and run after the tire tho. I was happy to see how excited my brother (Ernie) was to try it for the first time tho…

and SAT, The Day! I had inservice for lifeguarding that morning and dan and i decided we were going to the ZOO so i could do a extra credit project for my class THEN… i went home and Dan picked up some Panda...so Chummy! Daniel was basically a Pro at answering my questions for my packet, so thank you daniel!

After the Zoo, Dan and I were trying to figure out what we wanted to do so we were just driving and as we passed ASU I told him I have never walked on the bridge there so we made a quick detor but there was some event and packed so we left. On the way we decided we were going to stop at QT(love it!) which by the way... Daniel never just goes to QT with me just to go to QT haha

He then suggested that we went to LAYTON LAKES, it's our favorite park to go to in gilbert, and we hadn't been to in FOREVER! anyways, we got there and we were walking around this dock area, he was being cute (like always), saying how much he loved me and what not… and I said that we should go to the gazebo (my favorite place at LL because you can walk upstairs to the top part of it). We were looking at the sunset towards south mountain, as he was hugging me from behind. Well.... he kinda leaned away from me and what it seemed like was he was getting something out of his pocket (this whole time i'm trying convince myself that we were just hanging out and nothing special was happening haha because we both didn't plan on getting engaged for a few months)… Daniel makes fun of me for this all the time now, but after he leaned away from me i kinda started to shake haha and feel excited/nervous definently had no clue why lol but he moved back and was hugging from behind again and in my head i was think ok it's not really happening now just chill lol . Well.... he proceeded to tell me how he loves me and he can’t wait to be with me forever…and at this point he let go of me, while i stood there looking at the sunset he managed to be sneaky and got down on one knee behind me, called out my name so i turned around "ya?", "then will you marry me?!?!" :D

EEEEEP! Of course I asked him seriously? Really? BUT of course my answer was YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! So now I’m a future Goit, it's crazy how at 13 i went on my first date with dan and now 6 years later we're engaged! haha and I love knowing that I am finally marrying my BEST FRIEND and that no one can come between us. Bring on the wedding planning and the summer! We’ll have another semester to get done before we get married and the date is set for Jan 7, 2011! Colors: Teal, Black and Silver… Only 7 months away and I can’t wait! 143 untill i am 20!

It's been wayy too long...

So my bestie Amanda Zoe Peterson has been on my case for months to update my blog but i never have time haha so this is for you zoe...

i've said goodbyes and have had amazing people walk into my life. I guess the saying really does apply in this situation

"there comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore, and who always will.... so don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason they didn't make it to your future."

Someone who has had a major impact in my life now is my Boyfriend Daniel Goit. Me and Dan have a preety crazy and long past that maybe only me and him find funny but i am so grateful to have him as my best friend and in my life again. I've known him for hmm 7 years and we first met playing soccer for GYSA. We went on our first date to see THE INCEDIBLES! that movie is a personal fav haha but of course i was like 12 or 13 when i went to see it with him.


Dan came to AZ in April and we have been talking since the 12th of that month because i went to a cookie night at the Clouse's that i found out about and i was supossed to go to HW at amanda's but i decided to make a pit stop and say hi to people lol not knowing that it was a cookie night for him... i saw him and went to say hi :D we've been basically talking everyday since then. Dan and I have been dating since June 25 and i absolutely love him! I can't picture my life without him and i'm Blessed that Heavenly Father has brought us back into eachothers lives after so many years...

so this is what i have been keeping my life busy with other then Skool and Work...
